The Meeting

by Gunter Saure

Original Language English & German

When the one who is awake
Meets the one who is alive

Then
What stands always already unmoved
Joins the ever moving flow of life
What forever remains untouched
Touches the heart of a single man
What never can truly be spoken
Is expressed without any doubt

It is a tacit embrace
A marriage, where two become one
Like a hand sliding into a glove
A happening, that cannot be done

A graceful unfolding
No trace of holding
A peaceful returning
An end to all yearning

A presence of Being
Awake and alive
