The Sasquatch Looks at Himself (from The Last Sasquatch)

by Gabriel Rosenstock

Original Language Irish & English

The sasquatch looks at himself
in the water
does not know what he sees
or who he is
never saw himself
as anything --
anything in particular

Féachann an sasquatch air féin
san uisce
níl a fhios aige cad atá ann
ná cé hé féin
níor fhéach sé riamh air féin
mar aon ní --
aon ní ar leithligh
